RADWIN Resilience Testing - Prison Break style!

Don't try this at home folks!

RADWIN radios are tested and certified IP67 (Water and Dustproof) but now they've also been Metal Pole' tested too!

Curious to find out more, this is what Tony at Invisible Link UK had to say:

Tony: The unit was installed in a UK prison, connecting nursing staff in various buildings through a PtMP network.

RADWIN: So how did it get damaged?

Tony: A prisoner broke free, climbed onto the roof and proceeded to hack it with a steel pole, resulting in the damage shown. After the damage, the capacity reduced but no loss of connectivity was experienced by the client.

RADWIN: What made you choose RADWIN?

Tony: We choose RADWIN in the most demanding environments from mountain and remote island installations to the Prison/National Health Service application, where quality and an 'always available service' is required. From over 10 years experience working with RADWIN radios, they have proven continually to be a truly 'carrier-grade' solution.

RADWIN: We are always pleased to hear that our radios have met and exceeded customer requirements and expectations! However we don't recommend the metal pole test at home!
